José Betancourt is a Mexican director and photographer known for his vibrant, cinematic approach to storytelling. Originally from Acapulco and a graduate of CENTRO in Mexico City, his work combines a strong visual identity with an instinctive sensitivity toward people, culture, and emotion.

His experience spans commercials, branded content, and documentary filmmaking, having worked with leading brands such as L’Oréal, PepsiCo, Heineken, Carolina Herrera, and Aeroméxico. His documentary work has also been recognized at film festivals, including Shorts México.
