Gonzalo Ramírez is a Mexican film director and producer, and co-founder of Palmar Productions, a production company built from experience, collaboration, and craft.
 

His path into directing was shaped on set. Working closely with some of the most respected advertising directors in the industry, Gonzalo grew through multiple roles — from executive producer and assistant director to editing and color grading his early pieces — before fully stepping into directing his own projects. Today, he leads a strong in-house creative and production team at Palmar, allowing him to focus on direction with clarity, confidence, and craft.

Over the years, he has directed projects for global brands such as Corona, Grupo Bimbo, Pepsi, IKEA, and H&M Mexico, collaborating with leading agencies including HAVAS, Wieden+Kennedy, FCB, and BBDO — many of them choosing to work with him repeatedly.

His direction carries a youthful, fresh perspective — grounded in rhythm, sound, music, and transitions — that challenges conventional advertising language while staying emotionally honest.
